By Edwin Abbott Abbott, Abbott
Imagine living in a super flat world like a drawing on paper, where everybody is a shape: tiny triangles are poor workers, squares like the storyteller are middle class, and circles are bosses. One night, a square guy dreams of a boring world of just straight lines, then a magic ball from a 3D world lifts him up to show him there's an 'up' direction with amazing big spaces. He tries telling his flat friends about it, but they think he's crazy, lock him in jail, and only his grandson believes him later. It's a cool story about how hard it is to imagine things beyond what you can see!
